About

The Renew Community is a faith community that is dreaming and reimagining a different kind of church. We desire to be a faith community for skeptics and dreamers – people who are intrigued by Jesus but are turned off by religion. We’ve sensed a growing need. We’ve met many people who yearn to encounter Jesus in new ways by seeing fresh expressions and fresh extensions of the kingdom of God lived out in the northern area of the greater Philadelphia region.

The word Renew is central to our faith community because we believe that it is central to the Story of God and Man. The good news of Jesus is a story of redemption, reconciliation and renewal. Our lives have been renewed by the work of Jesus. In fact, we are continually being renewed each and every day. And as this renewing process is occurring we’re longing to see other people who desire to experience renewal to join with us in this hope-filled story that centers around the fascinating figure of Jesus. If the mission of God is to renew the world, we seek to join God, partnering with him in that renewing.
